The agreement between us, in plain language.

By booking a visit with Presenza, operated by Presenza Care Pvt. Ltd., you agree to the terms below. If anything is unclear, write to hello@presenza.co.in before you book.

What we provide

Presenza is a professional-presence service. A trained companion accompanies the patient from their home to a hospital or clinic appointment, stays through the visit, and brings them safely home. We send WhatsApp updates at key moments and a written summary after the visit.

Companions are not nurses, not doctors, and not medical professionals. They do not administer medication, take vitals, give medical advice, or make clinical decisions. Hospital and clinical staff handle all medical care.

Booking and pricing

Pricing depends on visit type and duration. We share the full price on WhatsApp before you confirm a booking. By confirming, you agree to that price for the scope discussed.

If a visit runs significantly longer than scoped, we will message you with the overage rate before any additional charge applies. You may decline at that point and the visit will be wound down at the original price; you may accept and the additional charge applies for the time used.

Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 6 hours before the scheduled visit. Within 6 hours, a partial fee applies because we have already assigned the companion. Within 1 hour, the full visit fee is charged. Rescheduling is free at any time, subject to availability.

Your responsibilities

Tell us in advance if your parent has medical conditions, medications, allergies, mobility constraints, or cognitive considerations that affect the visit. Provide accurate hospital, doctor, and appointment details. Provide a working WhatsApp number you can be reached on during the visit window.

Our responsibilities

We assign a companion and share their profile 24 hours before the visit. We honour the visit window we agreed. We send updates at key moments. We share a written summary after the visit. We retain records for 12 months for service-quality purposes; see the Privacy page.

Limitations

Presenza is not liable for medical outcomes, decisions made by hospital staff, or events outside our reasonable control (transport delays caused by traffic, weather, hospital scheduling, and the like). If we fall short of the standard we promised on a specific visit, contact us; we will refund that visit and follow up directly.

Confidentiality

Visit details and any medical information are shared only with the assigned companion and the operations lead. Companions sign confidentiality agreements at hire. We do not share visit information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Kochi, Kerala.
